Art and Photography Exhibition at Quesada Country Club
Thursday 17th October - Doors open 11.00am Public Viewing of Art strictly from 12.30p.m.

As well as viewing this excellent exhibition of photographs and paintings, we hope the afternoon will include one or more artists painting live, a few arts and crafts on display as well as fashion, food tastings, a cake competition and a cookery competition - Various interesting demonstrations throughout the afternoon will include card making, Indian head massage, clairvoyancy and art carving a watermelon! If you feel inspired by the paintings but are a complete beginner or have never painted before, one or two art teachers will be on hand to give advice. It is never too late to learn.

There will be a raffle to raise money for The Children's Home in Elche as we hope to get the final €250 to take the recent fundraising by QCC to €1000!"

Seemed to have missed the bit about the Art and Photography displays being a competition. I am fully qualified to judge food and cakes though.

Susan,
when I said I was fully qualified, I meant that I'd been eating food and cakes for 50+ years. Art and photography is in the eye of the beholder and the qualifications seem to end up with Tracey Ermin and Damian Hirst of this world.
As a suggestion for future food competitions, perhaps best Diabetic Three course meal.
